Cheatsheet Creator “Quick Tip”: Removing Keepers

If you are in a keeper league, you are well aware that one of the biggest pains with managing a cheat sheet is removing of all of your league’s keeper players. Cheatsheet Creator offers for a fairly speedy process for this. In your CSC “Notebook” you can simply check mark the “Remove” box, and the players will quickly disappear. Recently a new feature was added to speed up this process even more.

Speeding up the “Removal” Process

A new feature to “Remove Keepers” was added to Cheatsheet Creator recently, which allows you to eliminate all of your league’s keeper players (from your Notebook) with a few mouse clicks.

To utilize this feature, the following is required:

If you use MyFantasyLeague, simply select the “Remove MFL Keepers” from the Notebook area of CSC. Make sure that you are logged in before doing this.

The last step is to enter in your MFL 2010 League ID, then click the giant orange REMOVE KEEPERS button. This action quickly removes all of the keepers in one step. Pretty sweet, right?

If you aren’t sure of your MFL “League ID”, you may just have to ask your league commissioner. If he/she is ignorant of this information, here is another way. Just go to your MFL league page, then look at the numerals listed at the end of the webpage’s URL.

Future Updates

Yahoo Fantasy Football recently announced their release of a Fantasy API. This little bit of technology will allow us to add the same “Keeper Removal” feature for those of you using Yahoo as their league management service. This is a fairly recent announcement, so we should note that it may be a little while before we are done with the required programming and implementing. But stay tuned, because this is certainly something we want to add for all of you!
